It's Plastic Free July and you have to start somewhere! In this goal setting session we will cover waste and how to reduce it, sustainability and identify the challenges we all face.

Learn how to refuse politely! We cover single use plastic and guest Lindsay Miles of Treading My Own Path will teach us how to make DIY toothpaste, deodorant, coffee scrub and moisturiser.
Make and take! We will also show you how easy it is to DIY dishwashing tablets!!

It’s easy to reduce your waste when you have a few DIY tricks up your sleeve! Make and take beeswax wraps. Learn how to make reusable shopping bags (with our guest from Boomerang Bags), newspaper bins, produce bags and other interesting things!

Guest Jude Blereau of Wholefood Cooking will cover why eating seasonal, organic produce is best for the environment and our health.
REPAIR & REPURPOSE

Learn to repair and repurpose common household items with our repair team. Learn about textiles, gluing and DIY and bring along broken battery powered / AC adapter items to be repaired.

Why is recycling the last step? Learn what is recyclable, how to recycle effectively, where our recycling goes and why buying recycled products is so important to close the loop. Celebrate goals achieved!
